Jennifer Whitley's Biography
It takes two. This was a revelation for Jennifer Whitley. She didn’t quite get the connection between a partnership with God and spiritual growth. Her inability to accept anything less then perfection from herself resulted in disappointing self-dependence. It was coming to the realization that brokenness was the first step in healing that allowed Jennifer to become completely dependant upon God.
Today, Jennifer delivers a musical message that stirs believers to clarify their role in the two-way relationship with Jesus. "Jeremiah 29:11 says, ‘God has plans for me, plans to prosper me, not to harm me’,” explains Jennifer. “If we know this to be true in our hearts, God can change our lives.” This ongoing revelation has nurtured a transformation in Jennifer’s life.
At a Jennifer Whitley concert, inspirational-pop vocals (reminiscent of Faith Hill or Natalie Grant) blend with a heavenly anointing to create a dynamic duo. A serious student of vocal training, her standards of excellence are evident in her precision and passion. She is a woman with a simple message, a vivacious spirit, and a heart to reach those seeking an authentic relationship with God. "I want folks to realize that spiritual growth is born out of our partnership with the Lord," shares Whitley.
We think you and Mrs. Whitley might make a good pair. She may be a solo artist but, for ministry to happen, she knows it takes two.
